My age shows as I remember Corey Raymond as a CB at LSU from 1987-1990, or was it 1991.

To steal a guy that's from New Iberia, went to LSU, and has worked there for the last 9 years under two different coaches says something about Napier and a lot about Kelly.
Best CB coach in college football and one of the best recruiters as well. Let’s hope it’s true.
His recruiting list is absolutely insane. He is the premiere CB coach.

Pending decisions and speculation everywhere but only 3 coaches as of yesterday.
And most of the rest are guys from his OU staff and holdovers from USC.
Our buddies at tiger droppings have been in meltdown mode for a while now.
In fairness taking a P5 OU assistants is different than dragging along ULL staffers.
I am keeping an eye on Mario’s staff more than any of the others.

I honestly thought about that. This kid from New Iberia....absolute sticks of LA....here's this Yankee moron put that show on and goes "you know, Billy Napier's a cool guy and he never pretended to have a fake accent...or say something weird like "and I haven't even won all my games yet."
Too much panicking from people that just can’t sit back and chill for a bit and just let things play out. Barring some major changes (which of course can happen) Napier is about to put together a great coaching staff IMO. And the ULL coaches he has brought on in Toney and Juluke are both good coaches.
And if that is all we get from ULL fine. But if it grows, thats not OK
Raymond is a homerun and Billy deserves credit for that pull, 110%
Right now the biggest question I would have for Billy is does he realize he doesn’t get a pass for 5-6 years
Saban was in SECCG in Year two. Urb had a Natty. He needs to understand this isn’t the SunBelt and you have two years to put a product on the field. His offense sucks and Mario is knocking on the door.
now he may well provide a homerun staff, grab some guys between ESD and NSD and grab some steals from the portal. Very possible
But we just fired a guy who went to a NY6 in each of his first three years. So to think you can sit and say “process” and “patience” for 5 years is not a reality.

It's like you have a chef that's gotten 5 star reviews for years, then a bunch of patron start getting pinworms, and it turns out the kitchen is infested with rats. It doesn't matter that he did great for so long, he let things get so bad you had to cut bait and start over. It's crazy to me that you agree Napier has inherited a mess it will take years to fix without understanding who made the mess.

Dabo is taking the Raiders job and Mario will do well on talent alone, even though his coaching sucks.

Napier is making his presence felt by snatching Louisiana coaches like Corey Raymond out of my state. And now he will suck 4-5 star players out of here and bring them eastward. And there's also Jabar Juluke who's from New Orleans and he will get talent out of here a lot. I am watching Matt Moscona on YouTube right now, and the LSU fans are texting meltdown messages all over the place. It's too damn funny. These Tigers fans are a fragile crowd.
Maybe he will maybe won’t. How come his recruiting couldn’t help him at FIU? He couldn’t out recruit or win games in Sun Belt? Isn’t FIU in South Florida?

If you guys can’t see the blinders it takes to say Mario sucks, BK sucks, Lincoln sucks, but Billy is Christ reincarnated need to seriously look at your level of homerism
Number one you need to calm down and chill for a bit.
First off at FIU he was competing against other Sun Belt schools. He obviously didn’t do a good job or he wouldn’t of gotten fired. Now sure coaches can get better and learn from their mistakes. For whatever reason he couldn’t out recruit or out coach the likes of other Sun Belt programs such as North Texas, Western Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette (where Napier just came from), Arkie St, etc. Napier somehow managed to win 10 games 3 years in a row in just 4 years in the Sun Belt, while Mario in 6 years couldn’t win more than 8 games in the Sun Belt. You said yourself that Mario can’t coach. We have all agreed he can recruit.
Next I don’t think anybody has really said that Lincoln or Kelly arent good coaches. There have been comments about Kelly potentially not being a great fit at a place like LSU. Also nobody has said that Napier is a home run hire either. I’ve seen comments from folks supporting him and given him a chance. I have not seen homerism posts in regards to Napier. So I would like to know who you think you are addressing your baseless comments too? Because right now it looks like you are just looking for an argument.

Pretty sure he's just salty about not getting Kiffin. Nothing short of a natty in 3 years will probably change his mind. Just take any criticism from him with a grain of salt.
He talks about others having homer-ism, and yet he is more devoted to a coach that has never won a division title in the power 5 yet.

It sucks you didn't come back to the board while I was still down there. I've been preaching the Matt Moscona gospel for a long time.
The guy that went to 3 NY6 bowls in 3 years was headed to what before he was canned? If he stayed would he have made it to a bowl? Did he care? I was completely behind CDM from the beginning. He actually quit before he was fired.
This would lead me to believe he is going to steal another coach from an SEC team.
Any ideas who it may be?
