...McElwain, addressing more than 1,000 writers, bloggers and broadcasters at his first SEC media mania on Monday, wore a distinguished dark gray suit, an impeccable tie and a pair of designer loafers without socks. Even so, he put his best foot forward as he deftly answered every question concerning what he's going to do to fix the abysmal offense that ultimately got Muschamp fired.

"We need to create explosive plays," McElwain said.

Explosive plays? At this point, I think Gator fans would settle for some mildly turbulent plays...
