Now that the new hires are in place, where do you believe Florida stands today?
Factoring in teaching and recruting ability, how do you think this staff compares to last year?
Position: Then - Now
OC: Nussmeier - Nussmeier Same (Normally I would say better because three years in the same system should be a positive. I want to see improvment before I make that jump though)
QB: Nuss - Nuss Same (Perhaps just a bit better because he is working with more talented players)
RB: Skipper - Seider Better (Skipper was a defensive guy with a mostly defensive background before taking the RB job at Florida. This is an upgrade)
TE: Nord - Nord Same (What more needs to be said)
WR: Dixon - Dixon Better (Dixon, a virtual unknown when hired, has done a good job with his young receivers and in recruiting)
OL: Summers - Davis Worse (I know Summers took some hits from the fan base, but from an experience and teaching standpoint, you have to think he had a major upperhand on Davis. Recruiting wise, we will see)
DC: Collins - Shannon Same (Shannon had five top 10 defenses in his six years as a DC at Miami)
DL: Rumph - Rumph Better (I think the play of the line will take a step back because of the losses they suffered, but Rumph is still a hell of a coach and a good recruiter)
LB: Shannon - Skipper Worse (This may be Skippers best postion, but it is still a step back from Shannon to him)
DB: Gray - Bell Worse (Bell is known mostly for recruiting where as Gray was considered a top teacher)
