Not surprising to me our O-line is not up to speed but here's what surprised me:
- Tennessee had receivers running free all night. They gave up on their running game besides Dobbs but we couldn't cover.
- Couldn't get them off the field on 3rd down.
- Didn't spread the ball around to anyone outside of Callaway and Goolsby until the game was basically over. No Powell. No Worton. No freshmen other than on catch to Cleveland.
- Sharpe looked bad and was getting beaten consistently.
- Their line protected well and we didn't get enough pressure.
Bottom line is they're just a better and more experienced team than we are and they probably should be. Having a senior laden team helps. Disappointed the way it ended but there is still a lot to play for. That was 11 years of pent up frustration taken out in one surprising half.
