PF Kerry Blackshear Jr DID NOT meet with Cal-Chet as some have reported, says Kerry's Dad. They are however working on setting up a date to meet and talk
(with the bagman):
Asked about a possible upcoming meeting, the father said, “Yes, I am
[scheduled to meet with him]. To be honest, we’re trying to figure that out right now as we speak.” He added: “Kentucky has great basketball tradition. I don’t know Coach Calipari like that, I’ll have to do some re$earch.
But you know, it’s basketball.” --

The 6-foot-10 Blackshear, a junior from nearby Orlando, averaged 14.9 Pt's and 7.5 Rb's this past season. He notched 5 double-doubles in the Hokies’ final 10 games, including 18 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists in a loss to top-seeded
Duke in the NCAA Tournament. As a Grad-xfer from VaTech, he could play immediately.
Kerry is exploring the NBA draft or a transfer.
If it comes down to a bidding way between the NBA draft and Cal-Cheat, I don't know who can play more, but it will definitely leave White/UF out of the xfer portal.
