Oprah and the Discovery networks are having a town hall on it. I didn't recognize a single name of any panelist listed in her ad. It appears that OWN will own the entire network family and its channels that night.

She will act moderate but pander.

Police brutality needs addressing.

This however has morphed into a BLM social crusade to implement their agendas. This is an attempt at reviving affirmative action with the twist of the criminal justice system and full on socialist Utopian laundry lists of wealth and power transfers.

Of course the whole movement is based on the false narratives of institutional racism and the Ferguson incident.

Police brutality needs addressing.

I believe we have and we're continuing to do so. Can we do better? Sure...maybe...who knows??? There are assholes in every profession. How do you eliminate all accountants, engineers, doctors, sales reps, cashiers or Burger flippers who may have a tendency to do messed up crap? Sometimes you don't know until they've done it....and then you fire them and prosecute them if necessary.

Better pre-hire mental health evaluation may help some but will it catch every one of them? I ask because that seems to be the standard we're expecting. More training is always mentioned and sure, that's helpful too but will that turn the number to zero? I don't think so.

What Chauvin did is disgusting. He deserves everything he gets for savagely taking Floyd's life so callously but we don't know that he killed Floyd because Floyd was black and Chauvin was white. Maybe Chauvin is a racist, I don't know and I'm not sure anyone does but that seems to be presumed. That presumption is a mistake imo. Maybe he was just a sadistic SOB???

The FBI statistics seem to point to an entirely different problem. It's a problem all the same but if we can't even be honest about defining the problem, it's going to hinder the solution.

People like her, she's why we cannot allow defunding or the elimination of police to "teach the left a lesson." Innocent people like her would pay the price of that lesson. That price would be too high.
