Are we headed in the opposite direction?

Everybody has guys going pro. It isn't just UF. It makes sense that our defensive players would go pro. That is where our best players were at.

The Urban Meyer national title years were balanced. We all remember Percy and Tebow et al, but the defenses those 2 season (weirdly sandwiching a year where the D absolutely sucked) were pretty good with Reggie Nelson, Ryan Smith, Earl Everett, Brandon Siler and Brandon Spikes,Jermaine Cunningham, Carlos Dunlap, Joe Haden.

Also, the D's allowed 20 pts or more only 3 times each, with only one (the max) being in the 30's (31). Not 41 like our bowl game.

Why so many defensive defections?

Are they now concerned about too much focus on offense vs. defense?

As our offense improves moving forward is our defense going to start to suck?

Why do we seem forever cursed with imbalance as a program?

I think we just underestimate the damage done by Chump. That and I have said all year 2016 could be a tough year because the O will only be slightly better while the D would take a step back

I agree bro.. to me it seems like guys who should not be going early are going early... Most of the guys who are leaving could come back another year and improve their draft stock.. Vernon is an obvious he should go just like JT will be the same next year.. but if you're not going to go in the first or second I see no reason to leave early

LSU losses a crap load of guys every single year. Ohio State just had 9 guys declare for the NFL. It's changed. Players are declaring now if they are projected to go in the first 4 rounds. It used to be if you were projected to go in the first 2.

Of course the difference is LSU and Oh St. will be whipping ass next year like nothing happened....and we'll be coming out "flat" in yet more games bitching and moaning about all the player deficiencies we now have.

Grrrrrrr.
Will they? LSU hasn't been whipping ass at all the last few years to the point their coach almost got fired and is on the hot seat. Also Miles has been there for quite awhile now so they have had some stability which helps. We sure as heck haven't. Meyer is a great coach but they are losing a crap load of talent. Luckily he's in the Big 10 so he still shoukd be ok but Harbaugh is probably licking his chops as each one of those Ohio State players declare.

People have already forgotten that LSU wanted to fire Milesmore than a cripple wants legs?

When did 3 become So Many?

3-D = CB Vernon Hargreaves III - DE Alex McCalister - FS Keanu Neal
2-O = RB Kelvin Taylor, and WR/KR Demarcus Robinson.

Reasons to go early:

1. Projected Rnd in this years draft.
2. Number at your position coming out next year.
3. Possible academic eligibility borderline approaching.
4. Change of coaching/system/discipline.
5. Family $$ needs.
And many other possible reasons to leave early, like redshirts already graduated.....

Meyer has had top 2 class after top 2 class at tOSU and has his QB back. Harbaugh can't do that even with what will end up the #1 class this year

OU is again vastly OVER-RATED,,, and sitting at home still gaggin' on yet another washed out season. :p

With a 1st year new Gator HBC and a sub-standard backup QB that had been beat out by a rsFr, who did the Gators beat, and who did they lose to?

UF's 4 losses were to 12-1 UA, 10-3 FSU, 10-3 Mich, and 9-3 LSU (only 1 @ home)
(not to a chitty 5-7 loser Tex-azz)
UF 3 best wins were vs 10-3 Miss (-28), 10-3 UGA (-24), and 9-4 Tenn (-1)
A crippled UF team again played 7 teams with 9+ wins.

12-1 Alabama 38 - 0 MichSt (-38 Shutout) -- (UA 29 - 15 UF -14)

10-3 Mississippi 48 - 20 OkSt (-28) -- (Miss 10 - 38 UF +28)

10-3 UGA 24 - 17 PSU (-7) -- (UGA 3 - 27 UF +24)

I guess with that head-nailed-to-da-flor, your choke-la-homo smack is always weak/lame....

IF the Gators had lost to a 5-7 Tn or UGa, then you might have something to yap about. As it is, when was choke-la-homa's last NC win? o_O
And what is CHOKE-la-homa's W/L record in BCS-NC games? :p

Boy did UF lose to a 5-7 Webster led Tejas team?

Win something in any sport before talking ish.

Our ban is over in like 10 years. That sickly ill health Brent Hubbs is a pu$%& that had deep deep envy towards anything UF.

Who needs that crap place.

Your infected foot friend Mad Doggie will be $50 shorter this February as well.

^^^ THIS ^^^ and LMAO at the twit Choke-la-homo.... :D

IF Choke-la-homa's Slob Swoops was playing in the SEC, they'd be lucky to go 6-6 yearly.
IF Florida was playing around in the Big-Twelve/10, they'd be the Conf-Champ most years.

What's Choke-la-homa's W/L record against SEC teams in the BCS-NC games?

PS

They list the banning for me as Feb. 2106, (90 years) unless the idiot went dyslexic on me and meant to make it (90 days) Feb. 2016. --- He's almost as big of a dumb-chit as you are... :D
