I know some were hoping for one of the freshman to play, but it just ain't happening. No way in hell Mac burns a redshirt for a bowl game.

You sure? It's been floated around that he almost came in against Bama. Franks had been running #2 for a while but I guess that was only because LDR was injured with this recent news.
correct. And unless a graduate transfer comes in supplant the guys currently on the roster than LDR is more than likely the #1 going into Spring. Franks/Trask will have the Spring and Fall camp to impress, though. I say it is slightly better than a 50/50 chance LDR is the starter for at least the first game of '17, barring injury.
Him holding out LDR while he was ready to go against FSU and Bama scares me. Its almost like Mac didnt want people to see that in case he decides to start him against Michigan. If Mac has him the #1 QB in the Spring game we are in trouble.
Well it looks like that Toney kid is gonna start off at QB and we recently offered Blackman too who is a dual-threat. So maybe we're moving away from the LDR types. I find it hard to believe LDR starts next year but guess I wouldn't be surprised.
If he moves that way he HAS to find a new OC. Neither he nor Nuss has ever even remotely moved in that direction.
Michi- if that club foot LDR starts next year the Lizzerds are in for a real shit show in 2017 and the swamp donkey can dust off his resume.
