I can see the increase in 2020. Point of the chart is debt to gdp over the last 40 years. Which party was in charge during the last 40 years again?
No question both parties. I am pointing out the 2020 because I am in a den of trumpanzees and it’s an unprecedented rise. Something I would think conservatives would not be ok with.
I would think nobody would be ok with it. Basically all the problems this country is going through currently is because of that chart. The two parties have been pointing at each other for 4 decades while they have jointly run up that tab and enriched themselves and their financiers and the reason they get away with it is people are still dumb enough to believe there’s any meaningful difference between them.
True, but the run up that occurred in 2020 is what tipped the scales that’s why inflation soared that’s why we are going to be in a more and more socialist country going forward. That moved the needle more so than any other period by a very wide margin. And again, I am posting this in a den of people that call themselves conservatives without a peep. It’s telling, very telling
I mean you obviously have no idea what spiked inflation. People whose entire jobs and careers are focused on determining it don’t know. Wasn’t your boy Biden running around for all of 2021, calling it transitory? Supply chains, trade, foreign exchange, debt, the war in Ukraine and accompanying sanctions, dumb energy policy, corporate profiteering all obviously played a part, as did irresponsible government borrowing and spending and accompanying zero rate policy/money printing, including during the Trump administration.
