If UGA beats them, maybe…somehow someway they drop another to Missouri or Cocky.

An alternative orgasmic scenario would play out if UGA were to lose to the pirate and then get beat by Bama or Baby Kiff in the SECCG to knock them out as well…

Another amusing one is Bama curb stomping UT (assuming they beat UGA) in the SECCG to avenge the cigar game loss and knock UGA out of the playoffs since 3 SEC teams won’t go…but that wouldn’t prevent UT from getting in…so no bueno….
 
Hmmm, not sure who to root for. Vols most likely would not win a rematch on neutral field against Bama....
 
I was glad UGA won - Will explain below. However with Clemson and Bama getting beat it was basically zero damage done to UT. Their path to the CFP just got easier. I do think the UT loss did prevent them from the hat trick(Hooker Heisman, SEC Champ, Natty).

Ok have you ever had that one loud mouth arrogant SOB that you worked with? He meets and usually exceeds all quotas at work. Constantly brags. That is Alabama fanbase. Even when he/she doesn't win employee of the month fvcker still has the past pedigree and potential to do it again next time around or next year. Again Bama. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Then you have the dude that has the potential but has underachieved. Talks about the long past and also their potential. Finally breaks through the barriers and beats the guy above. They become the next co-worker in your face bragging. Meet UGA fanbase. They remain in the mix.

Then you have that obnoxious underachiever who has hidden potential but has for years been a Fvck up. You usually outperform this SOB even when you are down. This SOB always talks about this is their year but fails or trips up somewhere down the line. Then the stars and planets align. That SOB is actually finally in the mix. If they do finally win the most valuable employee they will be unbearable. This is UT fanbase.

Bama and UGA are here to stay for the moment. Do we need a 3rd acehole that's going to be more unbearable than the other two?

Bama was lucky to sneak out that win today. A third loss, coupled with the changes brought by NIL (asking for much higher donations from the boosters to buy less talent than they used to get) would cause some serious muttering in Tuscaloser. You might say "with all their success, how could one hiccup year cause discontent", but that would be underestimating the level of spoiled in the Bammer fanbase. Bammer fans will not know how to deal with a level playing field in recruiting, it's going to cause their heads to explode, particularly after NIL rules have impacted a full squad of recruiting classes.

No disagreement there.

However you can never count out a Nick Saban lead team. The Bama fan are going to Bama fan forever regardless. They'll have internal conflicts but will still tout all success dating back to the Bear(if no further).

Well yes, to a non-Bammer. But let the boosters suffer though a couple of 2-3 loss seasons, when they have had to significantly increase donations at the same time, and there will be rumblings. I believe NIL has ended the Bama success train permanently, because cheating Bammer style has been made legal.
