Nice adjustment on AJ today to speed him up between pitches. It appears the more he thinks the more he tries to hit a spot and the less control he has. His pitch counts are way too high. Around 85 pitches in 6.1 innings is not going to cut it starting next weekend against major D-1 competition.
First time through lineup he is predominantly fastballs and he does pretty well but when it comes time to use breaking balls and locating them it is downhill. Sully has to get him mentally right starting next Saturday or we are going to have to move him to Sunday to allow bullpen to not get depleted on Saturday. If Sully moves Faedo to Saturday, big warning sign for rest of year.
