Being vaccinated doesn't mean you can't get the virus.
You can still get infected. You can still become the host and the virus can still mutate.
Being vaccinated, or having already had the virus, means that in most cases the bodies immune system will produce antibodies faster to kill off the invasive organism.

The COVID vaccines are vastly different than traditional MMR, polio and flu vaccines.
Researchers have been working on these since the 90's (that's why they were able to get one out so quickly) and the FDA wouldn't give them the time of day...then poof suddenly the FDA has no problem with mRNA vaccines.
That's the politics you should be concerned with.

It truly is insane how many people are so willing to blindly believe the media and just TAKE THE DAMN SHOT!

The only thing I can imagine is that most of the dems rushed in and took it immediately. To be fair, I was open to taking it when it was first announced. But I wanted to see if there were any issues.

Almost immediately, we started hearing about deaths and illnesses. And being dog sick for a week or so after getting it became so common that people knew to expect it before getting the shot.

I worry about everyone who has taken it so far. I am happy I don't have to worry for myself.

If I'm a doctor dealing with sick people all day, some with covid, most without, almost all of whom would suffer greatly if I gave them covid, getting the vaccine seems entirely reasonable.

Big Pharma has issues, no doubt. But so does the FDA and Congress. Reminds me of three gay guys at the sauna doing a dick measuring contest. All look at each other with caution and make idle threats.... but are secretly admiring each other....and money is exchanged at times as well. It is difficult at times to solve the chicken or egg riddle.....which is more corrupt or at a minimum, self serving?
