@gator1776 what’s causing the spike in cases in your opinion? How confident are you with PCR tests?
Pretty confident in the PCR test, I don’t think it’s 100%. What’s causing the spike in cases is just the natural history of the virus. We hit from it at first then we tried to hide from it again but sooner or later, it’s a cold virus, it’s going to spread like wild fire when it finally gets a chance. Which is why it’s pointless to shut things down you just need to use normal intelligent precautions like you would during any cold and flu season.

I truly think a lot of it was just people being sick of it and trying to enjoy the holidays. Again it’s a cold virus, it’s easy to catch. And no matter how many times we try and shut down the country and hide from it whenever we open back up this was bound to happen. We just have to go through it and get to the other end of it. The only time to ever truly shut things down for 2 to 3 weeks is when we’re out of hospital beds.

My own personal experience we’ve had a rough six weeks where I work and we’ve lost some patients to coronavirus that I didn’t want to lose, one of them was a 42-year-old local coach and community advocate universally beloved but overweight and he went down and went down hard and fast and I coded him for an hour but couldn’t stop it. That’s why I get a little frustrated in a couple of my friends on here that keep claiming this is some kind of hoax because it’s not but they are correct it’s not As bad as some people want to claim it to be in terms of mortality. Tallardy rate is definitely below 1% I think but it sucks when you’re dealing in numbers of millions you’re going to see that 1% more than you want when you do what I do..

Best answer I can give you. Also noticed the states that have opened up aren’t doing any worse and in some ways are better, you just gotta open things up and go through it and come out the other end. You cannot hide from this virus forever.
