As you recall one of the finest members of our board @dlmoyersr had a tragedy back in October when he lost his son to Covid. He left behind a beautiful little daughter for whom he was the only parent Our friend @dlmoyersr and his wife are now raising his child.
I started a gofundme that @FresnoGator was kind enough to pin to the top and @Corey Bender was kind enough to leave it up there for a long time. I can never express the depth of my gratitude to the two of them for doing that. In addition @NickdelaTorre was kind enough to tweet it out which led to even more contributions. I can never thank @NickdelaTorre enough for that.
Today I sent a check to @dlmoyersr and his family for $8804 dollars which we raised through the go fund me. He plans to use that money to start a college education fund for his Beautiful granddaughter.
I was overwhelmed with yawls generosity and it speaks highly for why I love what this forum is and what I hope that it will continue to be.
Thank you everyone and the go fund me is still open so you can still contribute and whatever else we raise I will get to @dlmoyersr
