Tennessee will suck again next year because that is what Tennessee has become. It’s just not even an average football program anymore. They haven’t even won the East in forever. In fact UF, UGA, Missouri & South Carolina I believe have all won the East more recently than UT has. They didn’t even win a single SEC game last season.

Which is why I suggest that UT may never be a relevant football program ever again. It has been since Phil Fulmer is the last time they were any good. That is a long long time ago now.
The only time they were competitive under fulmer was when Cutcliffe was his OC.
With Cutcliffe, fulmer's record was 63-11.
Without Cutcliffe, fulmer's record was 85-41.

Correct. Which is why I’m not sure UT football really ever becomes that relevant again on the national scene. Sure they may have a good year here or there in the future but don’t see them sustaining anything. It’s already been over a decade since they had a decent team.

Dabo pulled CJ Spiller out of Florida when Meyer was at his absolute peak, recruiting him to follow in Percy Harvin's shoes.
No he’s just among a group of idiots who keep trying to pretend Clemson hasn’t had elite recruiting because they struggle with math. Something like 79% of Clemson’s roster last year is 4 or 5-Star players and that ratio is likely higher after the class they signed. And over the last few years exactly 3 schools have signed more 5-stars than they have...Bama, UGA, and USC. But they’ve taken small classes which have held their class rankings at the bottom of or outside the top 10 and because of that the new mantra is “see look at Clemson they haven’t had too 5 classes!” because shitty math. Unsurprisingly by the same idiot that defended all of Mac’s classes to the death.
