A disturbance in the force woke me up so I checked my phone and saw a text that North Carolina offered Florida target 2017 power forward Isaiah Stokes who was featured in the ITG recruit notebook.
This was an offer that I felt was coming. Roy Williams watched Stokes in Las Vegas where Stokes shattered a backboard.
Stokes is a 6-8, 285-pound power forward from Memphis. He is transferring to IMG Academy for his senior year. Stokes also holds several high major football offers.
My understanding is that North Carolina wants to sign three bigs in the 2017 class and has offers out to power forwards Mohamed Bamba, P.J. Washington and Wendell Carter.
