When you honestly break it down, and look at the state of recruiting right now.. What exactly is he not terrible at? Staff hiring awful, game day decisions by far the worst of them all, development is awful.. teaching the players how to play his favorite word "complimentary" football, awful.. Getting players to learn the very game they play lining up and operational football, total failure all around each week.. and now the ONE thing we hoped he could at least zookify for us, building the roster in recruiting at the very least for the next guy, it's all going to hell quicker every day now.. and everyone is standing in the burning house so numb to the flames at this point they don't even know they're engulfed in flames. He is a terrible game day coach. But keep him. Why?
Even with Lagway he is never winning 💩
I'm sure there are some people who want to keep Coach Napier, but I don't think any of them post on this message board. At least not lately. Our program has been going downhill since Urban Meyer's last year and it should never gotten this bad. However, before "they" fire the 4th coach since Meyer left, they better have someone much better lined up to take his place. I know I have zero input on coaching decisions, but it is frustrating as an alumni and 72 year old fan to see how low we've sunk as a program. It did surprise me how we outplayed Georgia for most of the game and if not for Lagway's injury I think we might have won. But being happy for hanging in there with a Top 5 team is not acceptable. There's no such thing as a good loss in sports. There's a winner and a loser and we're the loser more often than not and have been during Napier's 3-year tenure.
I think that many of the things that make people hate Trump, are the same things that have built his base of support. It’s a net pick up of voters. Back when we were running the establishment Mr. Nice Guys that is more in line with what you are thinking we were losing states like Ohio, Florida and Iowa. It was a total pipe dream to think republicans had any real shot at cracking the blue wall until Trump. Our electoral map has widened in the Trump era.We can quibble endlessly over the percentages but, the important thing is, we both realize that Trump hurts himself.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that Shime would start another FSU thread, which he just did… 1-8
But damn they are consistent.Well we played tough and had a shot to win but, at least we aren’t the Noles.
