Stricklin Assurance Statement

It’s not that it’s acceptable. It’s that there are no alternatives that make sense. Mullen has said this himself. You have to stop the revolving door. sadgator agrees that if you are a good coach, you can turn a program quick. We have seen it. Napier hasn’t done that, but there are some signs of hope.

But at this point, we are on a track for Nebraska level failure if we don’t inject some stability into the program. Switching to ANOTHER “up and coming” risk of a coach isn’t going to guarantee us anything. It’s all but certain they would make another “who?” hire, which gets us nowhere. And sadgator has said it a million times, there is no scenario whatsoever…EVER…that Florida would hire Lane Kiffin as its head coach…that is never happening….so we might as well support this guy and be as positive as we can. Anything else is just hurting the thing we are desperate to see succeed.

Here are the reasons given to keep Napier:

1. We play hard
2. We beat Kentucky
3. We “almost” beat UGa (lost by 14)
4. Look what DJ did Sat (2/6 for 47 yds in a half)

My hope is that IF we lose big in Austin that Lane runs UGa out of Oxford hanging 50 on them. One, dispelling the myth UGa is good and just showing how utterly incompetent the University is. You can keep Billy to “stop the revolving door” but DJ or not, you are never competing for a title as long as he is the coach.
