Once upon a time, a real President sent troops to a University to escort black students into a building to achieve what haters would not allow. Today we have a fake president who not only is absent of any action, but is such a coward that he will not even SPEAK to America about what is happening in this country to Jewish students.
But I am sure nobody ever confused Eisenhower with Biden.

Remember when then Governor Reagan sent almost 3000 National Guards Troops into Berkley to clear out the encampment of protesters. And he did it against the wishes of the the University and the City Council. He said, State University that receives State Funds, I have the authority.

Everything I have ever said about the left is coming true with this situation. They HATE America...and his votes from the terrorists are more important than the safety of American citizens.

Like Trump handled the George Floyd riots when officers were scared to go to work and people were worried about their businesses?

All I will say is that you are clueless if you don't either know or remember how much Trump spoke about the riots AND all of the offers he made to blue state governors and mayors like in Minnesota and Washington State to send in troops to quell the riots and was told no thanks.
At least I know you agree with my comment about Biden since you offer not one bit of rebuttal on BIDEN, but play whataboutism and even get that completely wrong. But I'm done.

where do i start with this.

Brown v Board of Education was a National mandate that the governor of Arkansas violated.

So Eisenhower had every right to send troops. However, 101st was a poor choice. There's an argument to be made that sending combat troops instead of military police was a violation of posse commitatus.

You can't force a governor to send in the National Guard, the guard is outside of the presidential chain of command within the borders of this country.

I don't see where Trump had the authority to override state governors in that instance.

Then again I don't give a rats ass about George Floyd.

I want to clarify my major Biden criticism which maybe I confused in my opening of this thread when I used action that Eisenhower took in '57. My major criticism isn't that Biden has taken no action, although is he really powerless to get protection for these Jewish students, but, as I highlighted in all caps in my opening thread, his failure to even SPEAK to the country about what is going on. It is hard for me to believe that a president, if not in a prime time speech, but at least in a news conference wouldn't be addressing what is going on all across the country with the hate and vitriol toward a minority.
Is Biden so afraid of the squad that he dare not say a word but hide under his desk or weekend beach chair. The answer is rhetorical.

I agree that he quiet and it looks bad to some. He has a speech scheduled for next week. I'm glad you confirmed that he was powerless in this situation. Sometimes we think our presidents are kings when they are limited in what they really can and can't do.

You don't either read or correctly interpret the words that I write. I did NOT confirm that Biden was powerless in this situation. I said my MAJOR criticism was not the lack of action, which doesn't mean that I have zero criticism and then I QUESTIONED whether he was really powerless to get protection for these Jewish students. How about getting his justice dept involved to make arrests like he had no problem doing for Jan 6th.

And a speech scheduled for next week? C'mon man. Do you know how silly that sounds? Riots are happening on these campuses NOW.

Biden picks and chooses who he wants to go after and he sends his justice dept accordingly. He has no problem going after conservatives at school board meetings. But he won't touch this because he is scared to death of the squad and losing Michigan. That's why he won't SPEAK.

To answer your question which was perfectly clear....he does not care about ABNYTHING other than how this will effect his vote total. TYPICAL lefty. Remember...they do not love our Country so other things are more important to them

As for me, I actually don't think he should say anything. I don't think everything deserves a president comment because they can make it worse, I also don't think that it will make a difference. Historically, no president ever spoke out about something and it made a difference. Presidents spoke out about racism, it didn't stop that. As you stated, Trump spoke out about the George Floyd riots, and did that make a difference? I am for results, not words.

Presidents just are not that powerful, scary or respected.

You can't really think that Biden sends people after anyone. I truly believe that the justice department is independent.

This shit is happening now. Where's the outrage? Why isn't Frenchy condemning the violence?

The President can send the Marines anywhere he wants for 48 hours without notifying Congress.

U.S. Marines were sent to pacify the LA riots, and more recently, New Orleans post Katrina.

Not exactly powerless.

Yes, I watched the video from several angles, and it looks to me like the anti Palestinian faction was laying the wood, and pushed the borders of the encampment back several feet. Plus several people with head wounds wearing kheffiya.
