UCF lost very narrowly to Louisville, who beat Florida in the 2013 Sugar Bowl, who beat Alabama in the 2008 SEC Championship, who won the NC in 2020.

UCF was probabiy the best team in Florida last year, which isn’t saying much considering the shape some of the other Florida programs were in. Unfortunately for them they just lost to a bad Louisville team.

At least they can always reach back in time to when they beat a program that has really reached the glory. Outside of that UCF will not in a National Title in the next 10 years...probably not 20 but that's to far to predict.
