I had heard this bit of info a while ago but confirmed it today. When Florida reached out to Napier (after the South Carolina loss) he started doing his research. He spoke with Jim McElwain and a couple of other people that have worked at Florida. He wanted to know the ins and outs of the program and the people that run it. He wanted to know what was good, bad, needed change, any potential pitfalls. Based on what he was told by those that were close to him and have worked at Florida, he made a list of things he wants at Florida.
From those conversations, he has made it clear to UF that he wants more in terms of recruiting. Napier wants to bring 11-13 recruiting staffers with him, more staff total, bigger recruiting budget. None of these, to my knowledge/understanding, are deal-breakers.
This is still the guy from everything I've heard.
