If you guys missed my update on Sapp from July 23, the former Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas standout recently completed his recovery class and is now eligible to become a Gator.
Earlier this morning, I said the plan was to now reach back out to the defensive lineman and his former head coach. Thankfully, I spoke with both of them this afternoon.
This is what STA HC Roger Harriott told me.
"Tyreak is all set and should be there. He should be on his way."
Shortly after speaking with Harriott, I called Sapp to confirm with him.
The All-American told me he is arriving in Gainesville on Thursday and should be leaving his home around 5:30 a.m. tomorrow morning, so I'm expecting him on UF's campus sometime around noon. That also means Sapp will be all set for the start of camp, so great news from all angles.
"I'll be in there for camp. I'll be at practice with the boys at camp. I'll be leaving early in the AM, probably around 5:30."
