I was in the camp that Napier was going to get a 3rd year regardless. At this point I don’t think he should. The recruiting class is going to fall apart and our good players are going to hit the portal in the off-season (ETN, Wilson, James, etc). Not sure you can keep him. He’s hired 2 bad defensive coordinator’s in a row so you really can’t trust him to hire an OC or DC. Not to mention no good OC or DC are going to come coach here when the head coach will be on the hot seat. In all seriousness it is better to just cut ties now. This is the worst UF defense I have ever seen. Even worse than the 2021 Grantham defense. Unfortunately there is no coming back from this. The train is way too far down the tracks to recover.
