Coach Walton announced the signing of 5 players to the softball team for the 2024 class. Included is another Gatorade Player of the Year from Fl.. Katelynn Oxley Pitcher, She is a RH pitcher will join an already super pitching staff.
the next 4 players should add skills to the class and fill in ably for players leaving the end of this season.
Gabi Comia, infield, from Indiana, she was the Northwest Indiana Times Female athlete of the year and 2023 softball player of the tear
Layla Lamar, infield, from Cary NC, player of the year.
Taylor Shumaker, outfielder, has accolades for past 3 years.
Townsen Thomas, outfield. Could be right up there with Falby for speed, she took off some time to rehab
her leg, I understand she is back up to speed.
We welcome these young ladies and can't wait for them to join the team next year......jim
