Hated to hear this. He was a great Gator on those good Norm Sloan teams of the mid 80s. Too young.

Damn! Montgomery was on one of those dominant Ribault teams in the early to mid 80's. I was disappointed there weren't more players from Ribault who followed him, like his former HS teammate, Keith Showers, who also passed away at a very young age of 37 back in 2005.

Those Ribault teams were ridiculously good. Didn't realize Keith Showers passed. Wow.
