Caught up with one of the top overall QBs on the Big Board for Napier and the Gators in 2024, DJ Lagway, 6-foot-3, 190-pounds from Willis (TX). Lagway will be making his second ever trip to The Swamp for Friday Night Lights & the Gator BBQ on Saturday. We have had him listed for two weeks as someone we felt would visit based on everything we have been told during that stretch.
DJ is bringing his No 1 WR with him to experience Gainesville, his name is Imauree Holmes. I know nothing about Holmes at all other than DJ told me he is 6-foot, 180-pound wide receiver. Holmes has not been part of the camp circuit yet, but after next year they expect him to be one of the top guys in the state no question. DJ is very excited to get back to UF – he is fired up to get back on campus and enjoy spending time and speaking with the entire coaching staff.
