That is 2 years before the contract runs out I think. Looks like maybe a deal is being worked out behind the scenes where they leave early and the SEC pays whoever has the Big 12 contracts some money for not having them those 2 years.

Basically what several people in here said, that UT and OU players wouldn't be put in a position where they had to face all the hate they would get in opposing stadiums for 3 years.

Hope it's not a long wait for us to know who our permanent annual foes are.Just thinking we will have to drop a scheduled game in 2024 and our SEC schedule will change some. Samford will probably have to be dropped with a 9 game SEC schedule.
