You missed my point. We have a coaching staff with no experience working together and a team with no experience playing together, and no experience working with the coaches. Also, the players do not know the playbook, but that's ok, because with 2 new coaches we are probably going to be changing the playbook anyway. In the pros you can get away with it a bit, because so many players can isolate and go get a basket, but in college, they have to work as a unit, and they are far, far away from being a unit.
Little Loopy Lizzy's MW hate is on display:
~ When Mike had to transition his offense on the fly during the season after KJ went down, it was --- that's just an excuses for the team's production.
~ But now that Mike has 4 xfers and an incoming Fr plus 2 new Ast coaches to adjust in 7 months, that's going to be too much for him to handle so they're doomed.
As always from his village wall, spewing drivel outta both sides of his mouth.
A new Gator B-Ball team is forming up in April 2021.
The first game of the new season is Nov 21st, 7 months later.
So, is 7 months a long enough time to learn an offense and gel as a team?
Especially when all but one of them (Fr recruit) already have plenty of college playing experience coming in?
UF routinely has fresh faced HS recruits that come in and play well right away.
Recent examples under Mike are Nembhard, Locke, & KJ....
Last season UF lost the starting PG to xfer and installed a new offense centered around KJ, who then goes down in game #4. Mike then had to alter the offense on the fly during the season that they had spent the entire off-season installing.
So making a big deal about 5 new guys joining a 15 member roster is really no big deal imo, considering that they have a 7 month window to get it done.
And the same goes even more for the 2 new Assist Coaches.
Coaches move around on a routine basis throughout their careers..
Depending on the playing decisions by KJ and CC, the next offense will need some tweaking anyway, just like most off seasons as team members come & go.
Little Loopy Lizzy's excessive and obviously biased fault finding is moronic and tiring. It's just more Rat style Fake News imoho.

Gainesville has become a favorite destination for high-impact transfers, who have played significant roles on recent Florida teams. Most recently, the Gators, under Mike White's coaching, have placed an incoming transfer on the All-SEC team each of the past two seasons, and before that, Canyon Barry was awarded the SEC's 6th Man Award.
