If you ask me, there's two things the Dawgs have to harp on that gives them a shot:
1) Our run D was porous, even downright terrible tonight. We know the Dawgs can run the ball.
2) Turnovers - that's always the case though. If you turn it over, you can lose.
Personally, besides the obvious implications on the SEC East, I think this will be another very important "program-building" moment for the Gators. Win this one and again psychologically, you're feeling great about things. Lose though, and ouch.
I've watched enough of the Dawgs now to make this conclusion...they aren't that good and at times, they look like they don't want to be out there on the field.
Coach Mac understands the importance of winning rivalry games, not to mention developing that early mental edge in the series, being a first year Gator coach.
