Things are moving quickly and behind the scenes with many things right now, with Rashada, George, and Walker Howard entering the transfer portal. I was asked to keep a lid on the D. George visit (Alabama OL), so I did. I can confirm the deadline for portal players to get into UF and be eligible this semester was extended to January 23rd. There needed to be more clarity in the chat about this the last two days. I can say about JR that the ship, in my mind, has sailed away. No offense to him, but this is the best scenario for both sides.
On the flip side, do not be surprised to see Walker Howard show up on campus for a visit sooner rather than later.
Yes, that means there have been some talks/discussions, so we will wait and see if or when he shows up for a visit to see what Florida is all about. There are times when I am asked to deflect as much as possible. This does not mean he is coming OR he is out; let's see what unfolds.
