Kevin O’Sullivan and the Florida Gators have landed another in-state prospect for their 2024 recruiting class. Naples native outfielder Jordi Guerrero made his commitment to the University of Florida.

Jordi Guerrero is a 6’0” 175-pound outfielder out of Island Coast High School in Cape Coral, Florida. On Perfect Game, Guerrero is the 500th-ranked prospect and the 418th-ranked outfielder in the country. He’s also the 56th-ranked outfielder in the state of Florida.

During his high school career, Guerrero has a career .382 batting average with 66 hits, 18 doubles, 12 home runs, 68 RBIs, and a 1.226 OPS. In his junior season, Guerrero had a monster season as he slashed .446/.574/.855 with 37 hits, eleven doubles, one triple, seven home runs, 33 RBIs, 22 walks, and a 1.429 OPS.

With Guerrero’s commitment, the Florida Gators now have fifteen commits in their 2024 recruiting class. Florida remains the #11 2024 recruiting class in the country. Guerrero also had drawn interest from Georgia and Stetson.
