He is the son of Gator LB James Harrell. He has graduated and will be immediately eligible for his final season. A Solid contributor last year, sure to add depth to our depleted LB corps, esp given the uncertainty of Morrison ever being able to return.

Considered one of the hardest hitters on the team ... A fundamentally sound player who was coached in high school by his father... Comes from the same high school in Tampa that has produced several Yellow Jackets ... A good student who has made the Dean's List.

2014 (Redshirt Junior): Saw action in 13 games at linebacker and returned two kickoffs ... Had 19 tackles, including 14 solo, and one quarterback hurry ... Recorded three tackles vs. Florida State in ACC Championship Game (Dec. 6) ... Returned kickoff for 16 yards at Georgia (Nov. 29) ... Had four tackles, including two solo, at Georgia (Nov. 29) ... Registered three tackles, including two solo, at NC State (Nov. 8) ... Recorded two solo tackles vs. Virginia (Nov. 1) ... Tallied one solo tackle at Pitt (Oct. 25) ... Returned one kickoff for nine yards at North Carolina (Oct. 18) ... Notched two solo tackles vs. Miami (Oct. 4) ... Had quarterback hurry at Virginia Tech (Sept. 20) ... Registered one solo tackle vs. Georgia Southern (Sept. 13) ... Recorded three solo tackles at Tulane (Sept. 6).

You have to be impressed with how hard Coach Mac and the rest of the staff have been working to shore up our weak spots. We've picked up 2 OL and now a LB since Spring. I know we're after one more Juco OL who would be immediately eligible but I dunno if we can get him or not. A lot of coaches would have just packed it in for this season and laid all the blame at the feet of the last guy - and in Coach Mac's case that would have been completely justified given the mess he inherited, but he and the staff have been working hard turning over every stone this offseason.
