According to Alachua County court records, kicker Eddy Pineiro was charged with property damage on Nov. 7 on two misdemeanor counts - one for damage of $200 and under and the other $200 and above.

A sworn complaint affidavit was filed Nov. 7 and logged into Alachua County court records on Wednesday.

(For some reason, the probable cause description goes with Oct. 7 instead of Nov. 7 like the rest of the incident report. Likely an error.)

Jim McElwain was asked Wednesday about whether Pineiro would play this weekend - apparently there were some rumblings about something going on - and he said Pineiro would. It's unclear whether McElwain was aware of unaware of the incident at the time.

“Yeah, you know something I don’t know?” McElwain said when asked whether Pineiro would play against LSU. “He’s our kicker, right? ... You know, I’m planning on it. Did he do something?

“I’m telling you. He kicked the heck out of it today. Made it rain a couple of times. Did good.”
