CBN came to UF at exactly the worst time. CDM left the cupboards bare, and NIL and the Transfer Portal had the CFB world spinning out of control. The timing couldn't have been worse. What Billy had to deal with in these first two years would have any coach struggling to right the ship. Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, Steve Spurrier, or any other HOF coach would have had a difficult time rebuilding this program. I give CBN lots of credit for laying what I think is a solid foundation, and his recruiting in starting to bring in the building blocks needed to compete with the "Big Boys". For me, all the talk about firing CBN is pure nonsense and needs to stop. As long as this season isn't a complete sh*t show, and I don't mean "wins and loses", CBN deserves a fourth year.
