Ted Rall's Revenge of the Latchkey Kids is fantastic. One of the best books on our generation I've ever read. Hard to find, but if you can pick up a copy, it's great.

I've been getting more in touch with my generation lately, since I'm at home in a pandemic... Revisiting books like this and movies like Richard Linklater's SLACKER- Which is now surprisingly part of the Criterion Collection.
