Won 1st set 6-3 against Popyrin who beat Taylor Fritz. Both of these players have a ton of potential. Damn Shelton has some weapons. VERY IMPRESSIVE. But obviously a long way to go in this match down under. ##UPDATE## Shelton won a really tough 2nd set that went to a tiebreaker. This kid has an amazing future. Love his left handed server. So wicked. He had a 140mph serve in this match that was the 2nd hardest in the Tournament. BIG FUTURE! UPDATE#2 Shelton wins 6-3, 7-6, 6-4 and advances to the 4th Round of 16. Sky is the limit for this kid. He has all the tools to be a superstar one day.
