My roommate (who has two broken metatarsals in his hand) just spoke to Desmond Parks at Shands and gave me a few tidbits on the redshirt freshman tight end. Parks said he had three pins put in, two into his hand and one into his wrist. He has had two surgeries since his injury, and he is in physical therapy right now.
His arm was in a sling and my roommate said he didn't look like he would be ready to play at the start of fall camp. He didn't actually ask Parks if he would be ready to play, that was simply his observation. We will work to find out more in the next few days as we get some access to players and coaches.
