Just one small tidbit. And I know it’s obvious. But last night was a huge win-win.
You go on the road and beat your bitter rival by three scores. FSU wanted this game more than anything. Defense was really, really good. Our D line is going to be a handful. Secondary is so young and after getting healthy, will be extremely deep.
And we also win last night by making it 100% obvious that you need an offensive coordinator. @SRGators has been all over this. We have generational talent at the quarterback level. DJ was physically limited and had an off night, but holy cow, that guy has all of the tangibles and intangibles to have a statue up in front of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Just need the right schemer and play caller.
So happy with this momentum. Gator Nation needed it badly, and Billy turned around this ship on a relative dime. These last three weeks have been incredible.
Can’t wait to see where we go from here.
