Did FL "win" or did we "lose"?
Just curios if those that felt we didn't win the GA Tech game. Y'know the ones that said "We didn't win. GA Tech lost it."
Of course the obvious difference will be GT led pretty much the entire game. However we blew several scoring opportunities which would have put us ahead by at least 2 scores in the first half.
If you look at the box stats of the FL game, we out passed and out rushed FL. Also had ToP by almost 5min. Tied on turnovers although they scored on one and got a short field for FG on another. Take out the Hail Mary and the long run (that we fortunately forced the turnover/touch back on) which accounted for almost half their yards and the D held them to well under 200 yds of offense.

Butch is the only man alive who could have lost that game. Even Chump couldn't have lost that. On the drive with the Dawson pick, 5 plays from the 5 yard line and not one touch for Kelly? Thats awful
I disagree. Chump could lose a game like that as well. Remember the South Carolina game. There was about a less than 1% chance in losing that game at the end and sure enough Muschump lost it and was then fired the next day.
Butch has lost to inferior Gator teams in similar fashion 3 of the last 4 years. At some point, this has to be acknowledged.
Butch was returning the favor yeaterday. We handed them a win last year that only Mac and Nuss could have lost. God, we have Butch, ugh
The only thing Mac should be more like involved in is cleaning toilets at the stadium
That last call put the players in a position to make a play. That is all a coach can do. The players have to make the play. That is what they did.
Great post and very true. We won. Really don't understand the Mac bashing today. We are trying to develop something...let's watch it play out before we go overboard...got a QB now and are 1-0 in SEC play...sadgator will take it.
As was witnessed by the BillWalsh/Joe Montana-esque clock management leading up to that play
That was also not a hail mary. That was a set play designed to get one of four WR open for a long gain. Franks picked up the right guy, made a helluva throw and Cleveland made a helluva catch
UF was just the smartest team on the short bus yesterday. Congrats at consistently sucking less than us.

The original play didn’t call for Cleveland to run a post route but he was wide open so he ran a post and Franks pointed him to the post. That play was on Franks and Cleveland
