While other programs were doing the "things" necessary to get players, UF sports was arm wrestling with UF admin about the practices ($$$) needed to attract top players. EXAMPLE: the Heisman Trophy winning RB from Florida that left the state to play FB, and posted a picture of his brand new sport car.
While other programs were upgrading facilities, literally building FB temples, UF was stuck with old buildings and an AD who said, "we don't need all those bells and whistles"..., you know who I'm talking about.
Now in the age of NIL, we still don't seem to understand how to play the "game". Maybe having Nick Saban called us out on national TV will help move this dinosaur. I don't like it, but right now CFB is all about the money!🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
