Got to take a few players out to lunch yesterday when I stopped by for a few hours. Kids seem energetic and ready for this new era of Billy Napier and company. Got to say goodbye to Diabate, great kid who I will personally miss but completely understand why he needed to go and start fresh somewhere else. Dex is ready for a big season and is looking forward to the "NFL" guy they are bringing in. All the kids I spoke and lunch with said the D should be really good next season. Offense, that's another story but will not get into this early. The vibe seems mostly positive and the players are certainly appreciate of CBN already helping with the Food and Parking issues they were having. It has been a 180 in both regards since he took over. Overall great visit and was able to get a bunch of signed gear for my son.
Side note: The coaches and entire staff have been open to the players that everyone starts from ground zero, no position is guaranteed and must be earned! This should be a fun ride!
