If Trinity had been healthy enough to compete on the beam and the floor exercise, her extra points would probably have been enough to get us the title. The Gators edged out Oklahoma in the team scores on the beam, vault and uneven bars. But Oklahoma outscored us decidedly on the floor exercise and that gave them the win. But the main thing to me is that we won yet another SEC title in a league that is deep and good in gymnastics.
Maybe sour grapes but we win the championship with Trinity competing in all 4 events.
I could see Oklahoma becoming a big rival of ours in all sports.
