Just when Clown World couldn't get any worse, the so-called Harvard of the West Coast being Stanford manages to double-down on stupidity by purging common language. The words "Man" and "American" are being demonized as harmful to people. Yes, my brothers the struggle and stupidity is real. Clearly, most of these Stanford faculty members are gay CDs and lesbos who couldn't strike up interest out of the opposite sex because they were too much of a nerd. And maybe a wee bit ugly too. Nonetheless, this once-proud institution of higher learning has become a festered shit-hole for Communist ideologies. Meanwhile, we Republican/Conservatives are proud AMERICAN MEN! Well......most of us on this board are when you think about the other village ass-clowns. So then, what say you about the decline of American education???

This has to be made up internet BS, right?
Stanford University and California Polytechnic State University are issuing recommendations to students with alternatives to frequently used words and phrases, such as "beating a dead horse," that they have determined could "harm" or make other students uncomfortable in conversations. 😂

  • Changing "prisoner" and "convict" to a "person who is or was incarcerated" to "not define people by just one of their characteristics."
  • Avoiding the phrase "brown bag" when referring to a lunch because "historically associated with the 'brown paper bag test' that certain Black sororities and fraternities used to judge skin color. Those whose skin color was darker than the brown bag were not allowed to join," the school’s website said.
I guess when I was a kid my school lunches were racist AF. Who knew?😂

California, in general is so "woke" they never sleep. The Stanford mascot used the be the Indians. Another example of idiot liberals projecting their guilt on people who don't even perceive themselves as victims. The Seminole tribe not only embraces FSU's symbolism but endorses it. The cuck UF President banning "Gatorbait". What an idiot.

Cucks!!!!!!!!!!

@kalimgoodman

Your party is doing it again, this time it's somehow made its way to an American university.

I know, it's hard to believe. I thought it was just that one company in the UK, but it seems we were wrong about that.

Wait, you can't say Gator Bait anymore?

Why??

As you all know, we are dealing with peopple who are total failures as human beings in life. The kind that were too scared to ask someone out to the high school prom or a movie date in college because of their Coke-bottle eye-glasses or teeth braces being too obvious. People who can't even bring themselves to improve their appearance because they believe they'll never look like their favorite Hollywood celebrity. These kind of folk can easily get run over by a true AMERICAN MAN. One who won't tolerate their crap. I say our time to start bitch-slapping these pricks is long overdue.

@LizardGrad89 get ITT to remind us that libs are just as 'American' as the right. Maybe more so.

Right????

😂🤣😂...that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

No one is ever allowed to mention overalls again. Overalls are commonly worn by farmers. Farmers live on farms. Farms have pigs. People call cops pigs.

I'm so woke.

I will say "Yes sir!" to the friggin Navy before I call a convict "a person who is or was incarcerated." You don't want that to be your defining characteristic, stay your ass out of prison.

EW, some of my best friends when I was in, were rock solid Marines.

In fact, when I got out, I sold my 1970 500 Kawasaki to a Marine buddy, then I bought a 68 VW Bug to go to college with. I needed something to haul away all of the 'stuff' that I'd accumulated. We were both happy that day....

You needed something to haul away stuff so you bought the smallest vehicle with the smallest trunk you could find? And you sold your scoot for this privilege???

Not your finest hour, hoss.

With the back seat folded down and the passenger seat all the way forward, there's a bit more room than you'd believe for the bulky 'stuff' that won't fit in the excuse for a trunk. By then I'd become somewhat of an expert on packing my 'stuff' into tight wads for transport. I'll admit that I couldn't have picked up a hitchhiker if I'd wanted to, (didn't want to anyway)....

In the end, I didn't have to leave anything behind that I wanted to take with me.
That's called a 'perfect fit' in my world!
😜

PS - I put over 200,000 on that bug (3 minor engine rebuilds) before I finally traded it in.
I also had a VW African Safari Van Camper with the split opening windshields.
I'd love to have them both back today, if I could get them in decent condition.
Haven't owned another VW since the late 1970's.

I once rode from Gainesville to Stone Mountain with 4 other people in a Bug and when I was stationed in Camp Del Mar helped a buddy turn one into a sand buggy. It's a fine vehicle, I just would have got a truck.

First you'd have had to be able to find a truck that was in my limited price range. Then the gas mileage on a Truck is something that a GI Bill student with a BS side jobs couldn't afford, and parking a Bug in the student parking lot was a lot easier. I also drove a lot of back woods white sugar-sand roads back then, and neither of my VW's ever got stuck. I drove past trucks, some with 4WD that couldn't go where I went. 😁

Let me tell you how it was in the old Corps, son.

In MY day we married a stripper, bought a Mustang at sticker price from the dealer at 27% Apr then we blew our entire paycheck on a poker game, got into a fight with all the bouncers at the club, and then and only then did we think about getting a DUI and becoming a private for the third time that fiscal year.

Living within your means indeed.

😊

Jus-damn EW, are you really THAT old?
Back in the days when a nasty ole drill Sgt could still pistol whip you for a mistake in boot camp???

And EW, I tried to enlist as a Marine, but I made a critical error.
I scored too high on the entrance exam, so they rejected me....
😆 - LMFAO

That's fair, you can't be an officer if your parents are married or you have an intact brain.

EW, the military (now Veteran) brotherhood (any and all branches) is something that I still miss, and likely always will....
I try to hang out with the guys from my unit at least once a year in person, and FB makes getting in contact easy when you don't have everyone's phone number.

I'm surprised you don't hang out at the VFW. Oh wait, you actually like your wife.

I've been a member of VFW, American Legion, FRA, and American Veterans (I'm an Am-Vets Life Member).

I still go to the local Am-Vets once or twice a week for a couple of hours, 2 beers and some light conversation, but the others require 20+ mile drives one-way and I hate driving back roads late at night. Besides, many of them just hang out at those places to drink excessively and be 'players,' neither of which appeals to me in the least.

And 'like my wife' is way too weak of a statement for the bride that I've been faithful with for 48 years and counting... If she dies before me (God forbid), I likely won't see the next sunset....
🤓

I joined the legion when I got out went once never went back and truth be told I'd rather hang out at a veterans homeless shelter. Some of my buddies joined the VFW and apparently the guys that had been there awhile didn't think much of the war on terror and made them feel unwelcome. Course they look like me if I could grow long hair.

Eff em all, one day maybe we'll make our own Veterans organization.
With blackjack! And hookers!

Some of them called me the UFO and/or conspiracy nutt,,,,, until recently.... 😒
Now they reluctantly call me correct, and way ahead of my time! 😜

But like any other place where people congregate, you get all kinds. I can almost always seek out a few like-minded individuals, and that's good enough for me. 😉

While certainly not the only time I've been correct in my many years as a Gator fan,,, but I agree that KT was a rather big one... 😉

But I was referring to the Vet organization detractors, not to these msg brds.
However, I do see the similarities to both situations...

Meh. C'mon Insta. They are going to inscribe Kyle Trask on your tomb stone. "He got this one right". 😂

I too am a life member of the VFW and American legion post 12 as well as the West Tennessee Coalition of Veterans plus an instructor with the National Veterans Training Institute.
