Spring Practice!!!!!!!!!

Mullen will expose your defoense and score points. We killed them with the will route last year. Lots of coach speak out there...not a lot of guys can switch gears....oh won't and play to the teams strength. Very impressive

Either we have another star in the making or Hopper (my eyesite could have the number wrong however) is letting 3rd and Grantham rub off on him.

Anyone make out that number? I think it may be Pouncey but not sure on that.

The new CB/secondary coach has plenty of quality and depth to work with.

PS

Way over-rated 5 Star CB Chris Steel is still stinkin' in up at USC
2 Yr Career Totals - Sacks 0, FF 0, FR 1, Ints 1, PD 9.

Thank Gawd this mamma's boy chump bailed, just as I said at the time.

Best I can tell from the outside, the new coaches have great depth to work with.
It will be interesting to see which of them settle out to be starters in Sept.

Hevesy is rebuilding the OL for the run game: G-C-G = 1,050+ pounds combined.
Braun-Reese-White -- The very definition of 'ROAD GRADERS.'

yessir - the OL is where the rubber meets the road. A solid running game is key to opening up the passing attack. With the talent we have on the edges, if we can establishing a solid ground game will be key to a potent offense

From previously weak, then to questionable, and now to it looks loaded to me for 2021...

LB's - Positions & rotations are very flexible and many will play:

Brunson 6-2 234 rsSr

Black 6-3 226 Jr (#1 JuCo xfer)
Hopper 6-2 221 rsSo
Keeter 6-5 229 rsSo (UCLA xfer, Gainesville)

BUCK/OLB
Moon 6-5 245 rsSr

Why has WR Ja'Markis Weston failed to make a big impact as a Gator receiver so far?

1. Van Jerfferson - NFL
2. Tyrie Cleveland - NFL
3. Freddie Swain - NFL
4. Josh Hammond - NFL
5. Kyle Pitts - Projected 1st Rnd
6. Kararius Toney - Possible 1st Rnd
7. Trey Grimes - Projected NFL
Even these guys have been used sparingly so far....
8. Justin Shorter 6-5 227 rsJr
2020 - 25 receptions in 10 games.
9. Jacob Copeland 6-0 204 Jr
2020 - 23 receptions in 11 games.
~~ Plus many targets have gone to TE's, and RB's over the last 2 seasons.

----------
Ja'Markis Weston 6-3 212 rsSo
2019 Fr - 3 Games
2020 So - 8 Games.
2021 rsSo - A breakout season is coming.

Trent Whittemore 6-4 213 rsSo was beginning to have a solid breakout season in 2020 before going down to a broken rib with a punchered lung.
I look for both to step up in 2021 to help replace those departing from WR-U....

Waiting in the wings and working for rotation snaps.
Xzavier Henderson 6-3 196 So
Ja'Quavion Fraziars 6-3 205 So
Daejon Reynolds 6-2 201 Fr - EE
Plus the late developers:
Rick Wells 6-1 204 rsSr 6th Yr.
Jordan Pouncey 6-1 212 rsSr (TX xfer)

The QB's will have plenty of receivers to throw the ball to....
