The Gators' Last Outing:

In Sunday's Pink Match, Florida responded to an early deficit to score four consecutive goals, for a 4-2 home win over Kentucky. The Wildcats took the early lead in the 17th minute when Julia Grosso put in a corner kick.

The next three goals came from Florida freshmen - with the first two scoring their first Gator goal. Laney Steed's left-footed volley off the ball from Vanessa Kara scored from the top of the box in the 26th minute. Then her roommate, Ava Kuyken, struck a right-footed 18-yard shot in the 39th minute off the ball from Alyssa Howell.

Kouri Peace opened the second half with a goal in the 50th minute off the assist from Deanne Rose. Junior Parker Roberts hit an 18-yard free kick goal in the 64th minute. The final goal came from UK's Jordyn Rhodes in the 71st minute off a penalty kick.

Last Meeting Between Gators and Auburn:

Florida and Auburn last met in the 2018 Southeastern Conference Tournament play-in round, with the Gators moving ahead to quarterfinal action with a 2-1 penalty kick decision. Florida's Madison Alexander drew and then successfully converted Florida's first penalty kick of 2018 in the 20th minute. The Gators played the final 54 minutes a man down after senior Sarah Troccoli received a red card. Auburn tied the match in the 74th minute when Taylor Troutman headed in a corner kick.

After overtime minutes extinguished, penalty kicks decided the advancing team. Senior goalkeeper Kaylan Marckese stopped the first AU kick and then scored Florida's first PK. Marckese stopped three of AU's five attempts (other two - one wide, one good). UF prevailed 2-1 on PKs, marking the second advancement in the team's five PK SEC Tournament situations.
