Captain Ron shows mercy.

FLORIDA (WKRG) — Former District 1 candidate for the Florida House of Representatives Rebekah Jones will have to pay the Florida Department of Law Enforcement $20,000 and admit guilt to a computer-based crime she allegedly committed in 2020.

Conditions:
  • Admits her guilt of the offense(s) charged.
  • Return all Department property, exclusive of public records.
  • Pay $20,000 in investigative fees to Fla. Department of Law Enforcement at a rate of #200 per month until paid in full.
  • 150 hours of community service at a minimum rate of 13 hours per month.
  • See a licensed mental health professional at a minimum of one hour per month. (she's also been accused of being a stalker)
Last month, Jones lost in the District 1 Congress race against Matt Gaetz.

Another day, another damned Dimtard bites the dust!

She pled guilty in the plea to accessing a state computer system...

Don't see anything regarding the content of what she made public

And as with most DeSantis legal action...the charges can/will be dropped

Charges against Rebekah Jones, former Florida COVID-19 data scientist, to be dismissed in plea deal
Jim Little, Pensacola News Journal
Thu, December 15, 2022 at 6:00 PM EST·3 min read

Jones, a former Florida Department of Health employee who created the state's COVID-19 portal, was charged with accessing a state computer system without authorization. As part of the plea deal, Jones said she admitted to having a health department roster on her computer and agreed to pay $20,000 for the cost of a police investigation.

The agreement delays prosecution for two years and includes six conditions, including paying $20,000 to reimburse the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for its investigation costs and admitting guilt.

If Jones meets conditions and is not arrested for another crime during the two-year period, prosecutors will drop the charges without Jones having to enter a guilty plea in the case officially.

As I said...NOTHING regarding the content of what she was publishing is part of this case

This is a charge of using state property...
NOT about what it says about DeSantis's data policies and misinformation campaign

Mess with the bull, you get the horns! 😂

8 years of monthly $200 payments, community service and probation are hardly "dismissed charges".

You can't even read simple things correctly can you?

Its $20,000 for repayment of the state's investigation costs.
It can be paid in 1 day.... or at a minimum $200 per month

In a world of gofundme it won't be 8 years of payments

Hey whaddya know...she's already raised $353,000 in 2020 😲

Help Florida COVID-19 whistleblower Rebekah Jones!

And an additional $4,000 specifically for the investigative fees

Misinformation? You’re now officially in the clown category. 🤡

You’re on a losing streak here.
RJ is not someone I’d be defending. She’s a bit of a loon and you’re wasting your cred on this one.

I was defending Jones?

I said she was charged with unauthorized accessing state property...basically "hacking"

Nothing about the validity of her reporting is part of that case
Isn't that the case?

And she's already raised half of the cost of the investigation...it wont take 8 years

https://news.wfsu.org/state-news/20...ekah-jones-is-mischaracterizing-her-plea-deal
Jones is crowdsourcing funds to pay her legal fees. She asked her newsletter subscribers to donate, writing that "the rich truly do not experience the same justice system as the rest of us." Her GoFundMe, which she originally created two years ago, has raised $352,668 – and nearly $10,000 in small donations in the five days since her criminal case was dismissed.

Where exactly am I defending her?

Can you get anything straight?

She didn't stalk a FSU professor...she was the professor and he was a student
Sexual affair issues

You know what they say about the crazy ones 😎

In a nutshell, everything she said was untrue and her ridiculous claims were only listened to because libs wanted them to be true. Also narrative.

Also #2...she is nuts. She is absolutely a crazy person.

Finally, history has proven her claims to be false if any other whacko feels the need to doubt the IG's report that absolutely proves she lived in an alternate reality.

She's one of Lil Dickey's peeps. She got fired from LSU and then stalked an FSU professor. He knows how to pick them. 😂

No doubt this loon would rock your world IYKWIM.

However, the next morning she's going to kill and then boil your family pets. So there's bad with the good, ya' know.
