President Trump to be reinstated?

Then don't deal with them. This is still America, where you can believe any retarded ass thing you want to as long as it doesn't lead to physical violence or property damage.
Agree but they aren't fine people

Your logic...yea man, gmab.

You bend over backwards to excuse Biden for blatant racism. You also bend over backwards to make the case that Trump supported WS.

We are never going to see eye to eye on this. And with all due respect, that is because you are being entirely unreasonable.
No no no. I'm not saying he's that now. We were discussing that comment at that time and why it was a bigot/racist comment.

Catching on to the theme?
😂

You are grasping at straws here. Trump said "there were good people on both sides of the protest".
Nothing more, nothing less. You let the media tell you what to think.

There were also trouble makers there. Both radical sides. Trump did not speak of nor refer to them.
More revisionist history.

Ok but protesting with white supremacist don't make you a fine person but I'm seriously not shocked that you guys do.

This might be the dumbest thing I've seen you post, and I don't give you a lot of grief. Say you go in front of the court house to protest your taxes being raised? Ted Bundy is on your left, Charles Manson is on your right. They are holding the same protest signs you are. Do you not see the fallacy of your argument? 😂

I have a random question for you because I believe your answer will be interesting.

When I was about ten, my friend Deon's mother gave him the standard instruction on how to deal with cops as a black child. Since I am brown and live in America, I was included in this period of instruction.

It boiled down to be polite, follow instructions, don't run. Don't do the things your white friends do because they can do that and you can't.

My question is if you teach your children to be afraid of cops, who do you teach them to call when they need help?

To go and protest with white or black supremacist means you feel comfortable with being associated with them. I would never go and protest with black supremacist. I don't care if they were protesting to make Pitts the heisman. Once I know it's their protest, then I'm out but that's just me.

Seems that some of you are ok with working with known white supremacy to advance your causes. That's where we ALL seem to disagree.

No idea because I was never taught that. I'm ok with not knowing everything. I'll differ that to someone else. As I told @BamaFan1137, I always respected the police and have a great relationship with them, well all but 1 in my entire life.

You know I respect you. So sorry for the delayed response. Byrd was a former Klan member but as he got older the man changed. He denounced racism, segregation and was adamant about how being a Klan member was the worse thing he ever did. Byrd definitely evolved. Byrd was also growing up in a era when that was "ok". I am sure his parents/friends told him that was the correct way to live.

Black people are very forgiving. We understand that not everyone is perfect on race. We just want to see that you're trying and that you're listening. Biden has always listened, he has been very involved with the NAACP. He worked as lawyer helping poor black people. He struggles with talking about us but he knows how to talk to us. Just youtube Biden at black churches.
I understand where you are coming from but I have a hard time believing any politician let alone a former KKK member. Could people rehabilitate themselves? Sure, but I have a very hard time believing a man who grew up in the south during a time where they thought the black race was inferior in every way and who also created legislation that sets the black community back. That man has done some evil things during his time as a klan member that just don’t go away.

My stance on politicians will never change, they are greedy people and will say anything to hold onto the power they have. Biden is no different and that man wears many faces to stay relevant based on who he’s talked to.

I do have one question for you. You have said that Biden has worked with the NAACP and listens to the black community. Is that all it takes to get the black vote? Can you tell me exactly what Biden has done to progress the black community and make things fair by using his power as a US Senator, Vice President or President? Is there any piece of legislation where he has not only helped the black community and avoided the detriment of other races?

You are not grasping the pebble grasshopper. The protest was about REMOVING HISTORICAL MONUMENTS. Some wanted to remove them, others wanted to preserve American history. Your avatar says that you are a Bull Gator, so you've been around, and likely a Gator fan. So you'd never attend a Gator game because 5% of the Gator fans are unruly drunks and start fights in the stadium? 😂
Like I said, you've allowed the MSM media to dictate your every thought. Sad really.

You never got "The Talk?" That's amazing. I know Black kids that never got the birds and bees talk that got the cop talk.

I agree it's tough to forgive a former Klan member but it's possible. That's the hands black people were dealt. We have presidents who owned slaved and i sure had relationships with Klan members. If you're going to evolve with the new times we need to see. I'm not saying Byrd was anything special but he was long past his Klan days when he became a senator.

Not saying that's all it took/takes, just saying that was some of things he did. As to your questions, it's tough to judge a senator because as we see they are truly powerless. The crime bill was designed to help the black community with rising crime, the assault weapons ban, climate bill, violence against women, etc. I'll like to see what he does as president.

I think the talk is made up. Just a stupid liberal talking point. I literally know zero black people who had the talk and I've met hundreds of black people.

You think they let freed slaves run around with guns? Why do you think that all or most of the guns named specifically to be banned in the 1994 crime bill cost less than 300 dollars? Why do you think guns aren't allowed in Section 8 housing?

The answer they want you to rely on the government, not yourself. God forbid you have a cheap 38 pistol to defend your family. That's also why they take your 2nd amendment rights away when you get a felony. Apparently drug dealers don't deserve to defend their families.

One of the things that the NRA did was teach black men to shoot. You get less crosses burned on your lawn that way.

And ive lived in poor black neighborhoods all my life and all my friends give their kids that talk. They truly believe that cops like to shoot little black kids.

The crime bill didn’t help the black community, it put more in jail/prison, he help right that bill. On a micro level, I understand what he was trying to do, on a macro level it hurt the community and put generations of fathers in prison which has only led to more issues with a newer generation.

Any gun ban/law hurts law abiding citizens. There hasn’t been a gun bill that has helped anyone and all it’s done is extend an over reaching government who has too much reach to begin with. On top of that, most libs can’t even define what an assault rifle is. They think a semi automatic, 30 round magazine gun is an assault rifle. Have you ever seen a a new gun owner shoot an AR15, it’s sadly comical. I can do a lot more damage at long distances with my bolt action precision rifle. Next they’ll try and ban assault knives like the ones you see on Rambo.

The purposed climate bills are laughable. How are we going to pay for it? Raise taxes or print money? At some point we have to pay the Piper or you really will see rioting nation wide and most likely a civil war. On top of all that, we re-enter the Paris climate accords but continue to let China destroy its environment for another 10 odd years. Do you really think China is going to obey after 10 years? We’re also one of the cleanest nations in CO2 reductions.

I’m not following you on violence against women. That stems on how children are raised and respecting others, I’m not sure what Biden has purposed as far as legislation. We have assault laws in place.

So again I ask you, can you name one piece of legislation that has had a positive effect on the black community. I can’t but if you can show me then I’m more than happy to read up on it. All I see is a plagiarizing, racist, creepy guy who was once blessed with a brain that was very good at the gift of gab. If you want to chalk up the racism as Biden’s generation then by all means but to me, racism is racism and Biden is a racist. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Fair question. I actually had this same conversation with my Texas conservative friend. I put that in a different category similar to the 2nd amendment and abortion rights fight. I don't consider those the same as race wars.

Well that's convenient. A nice neat package that you have created to pretend it's different.

It's different.

Why is it different?

Because it is different.

Well, that clears that up.

You mean the first articulate and clean black politician? Yep...he worked for that guy.

If you shut up and listen, people will tell you who they are. Biden has done that many times over.

Agree, the stupid crap people say on this board, like you for example, is very entertaining.

#stupidonpurpose
Focus on actions, not words. You alls faux outrage at Biden rings hollow, as you ignore the racist posts ITT. Nope, you don't care about racism, only to use a political tool. It's too obvious.

Exactly and that bothers me. If a white person is more outraged than a black person about something racist towards the black person, then it's probably only beneficial to the white person.

You do know that more white people are in section 8 housing and on food stamps then black people?

You are so obtuse to what has been pointed out to you too many times to count. Your selective outrage at racism is inconsistent and hypocritical. You have literally been shown where Donald Trump condemns racist organizations/people and then shifted the goal posts to make it “anyone at a protest” automatically makes them racist. All in an effort to excuse more blatant racism by someone you voted for LOL! Because that person knows how to pander to black peoples better than the other guy. This is cartoonishly stupid LOL!

So much gaslighting in this thread.....

No way Trump is going to be reinstated.....but these fever swamp rumors are all that Pelosi and Schumer need to keep Capitol Hill surrounded with barbed wire. :(
It's about sending a message. The dems are scared to death that the people really WILL rise up and throw them out of DC.

That HIGHLY suggests they have done something wrong, and they fear how the people will react if they find out what it is.

This story is in its early days.

Or the black person is ignoring the racism because he is being a simple partisan.

One or the other for sure.

The fact that you prefer Biden over the former POTUS does not mean that Biden isn't a bigot who clearly spews bigotry when off script.

Actions like raising the standard of living for black Americans to their highest levels ever or by giving more money to HBC's than any administration in history?

Fair point.

You voted for a known racist. And you're on record saying you don't care and that 'your people' don't care about that either.

IOW, you did the very thing you accused others of doing.

That makes you a hypocrite.

Wait, what???

So first you overlooked Hiden's racism cause you said he didn't mean it. Now you are overlooking his mentor's racism cause....you just want to.

So that's two of the biggest known racists in politics in your lifetime, and you just dismiss their racism because they have a D in front of their name.

So you could care less about actual or believed racism, you just use it as a tool to attack your political enemies and defend your political allies.

Wow. I'd tell you what type of person that makes you...but I suspect you already know. And like the racism of your party, you are cool with it.

That's what you f*cking took from that? I'm beginning to agree with the other people here, you just see what you want to see. Gun control is classist and racist. Rich people not only have all the guns they want all the time, they also have people to tote them for them. Stuff like assault weapons bans, NFA, even the BATFE don't get in their way. I don't have 25k to buy a full auto weapon, but it doesn't stop rich folk from collecting them. Gun control started out in Reconstruction to keep guns away from Black people. You don't believe that. But I bet you swallow hook, line, and sinker that the origins of policing lie in slave patrols.

What the f*ck do food stamps have to do with gun control?

I wasn't talking about Trump, Barney Fife.

Reread my post.

I took that you're trying to associate section 8 with black people. So if section 8 people can't have guns but more white people is on section 8 than how is that racist to black people?
