3. While I loved the Gaetz pick, as an attorney myself, he has so little legal experience he wouldn’t have been able to effectively do the job. There are baby lawyers prosecuting misdemeanors with more legitimate legal experience than Gaetz.

Bondi has been one of Trumps lawyers. He should know her very well. AND if she chooses can appoint Gaetz to a position in her office.
I hope there is a good Deputy AG to make sure the grunt work of cleaning things up gets done. I don't think Bondi would be part of any outright backstabbing of Trump though.

There is a reason they lied about the pipe bomber thing also and no arrest has been made. It was the backup plan to blame Trump if the people didn't let them goad them into going in the building. The phone company already said it was a lie that the data they had from that phone on the pipe bomber suspect was corrupted like the crooks in Congress said. The guy was a fed or working for them.
We just might have a "new" J6 House investigation. Little Lizzie, Pelosi, and Kinzinger might not like the outcome.

Because Gaetz was a mistake who would not have been confirmed and his continued presence as a nominee would have stirred the waters unnecessarily, causing internal problems for the Republicans - who have a narrow majority and need to stay united from the start.
