The Steelers decided to honor Antwon Rose — a black teenager shot by a white police officer in Pittsburgh in 2018 after he ran from a vehicle that was pulled over. The police officer was charged with murder, but a jury found him not guilty in March 2019.
But Mr. Villaneuva decided not to do honor Rose. Instead – he posted the name of an Army sergeant who died after trying to rescue soldiers from a burning car in Iraq.
Alwyn Cashe.

Reading the article below halfway through gets soooooo much better. As soon as Steelers center Markice Pouncey was made aware of Antwan Rose and his actions which ultimately led police to justifiably capping his ass, Pouncy now plans to remove that very name from the back of his helmet.

Amazing what our country has come to. When did it get OK to honor thugs?

Didn't the Cowboys try that some years ago? I can't remember if Tom Brady hater, Roger Goodell, either banned or fined them for attempting to honor those fallen Dallas police officers.
Dodger Dumbell told them NO they could NOT honor fallen police officers....fast forward and they are putting criminals on their helmets...except the Taylor lady...she is another in a long line of no-knock victims that include police who die executing those heinous instruments of death and destruction.

The Pouncey twins went to my high school and played for the same coach I played for.
