Congratulations Gators mens track and field!!! National Champions!!!
Mouse has to be the best coach at Florida and a strong case to be the greatest coach ever at UF. Men's track program has been top 3 for I believe 13 straight seasons. Crazy streak. I think he now has 5 outdoor titles and 5 indoor titles.
And our track and field national titles won't be stripped because of, well, you know, what happened to another track team back in 2006 and 2007.
Joseph Fahnbulleh looks like a great in the making. If he just improves his starts no one will beat him in the 100m or the 200m. He has crazy finishing speed already.
200 is a deep field. I suspect he will run for Liberia again. Dude is a competitor.
Me too. Maybe not quite as tall but has those really long legs/stride. If he gets some good training in he should be a force in the next olympics.
And the women pull off the sweep!! Great job!!! Mike Holloway is the G.O.A.T.
What a program he's built over there. On the men's side we overcame some injuries this year. The women have just flat dominated all year indoor through outdoor. Very deep team. Recruiting looks really strong too. Outstanding class coming in.
The last few days the men and women have pulled some big time transfers. I suspect we will lose a few to pro track. But yesterday got a sprinter from Oregon and the men got an All American sprinter from TCU. A ton of kids want to transfer to us but coach is very particular who he allows in.
Also got a high jump transfer from Southern Miss. Kid finished 2nd at indoor champ and 10th outdoor. Great pickup. Has a PR of 7'6.
He could almost jump over Manute Bol.

the new throws coach got a bunch of throwers in this class to build from the ground up. He really got Anna Hall to make great strides in her throws. We had to turn away some kids who we may bring in like we did Champ after the fall semester. We also sent away a few sprinters we just thought were not improving and always had nagging little injuries
Those are impressive adds. With what's returning we will be in championship contention again....I love that our track kids are also good citizens. Mouse runs an amazing program. We are so lucky to have him.
And I'd say that Mike da Mouse could easily be called the best coach/person in UF history, any sport.
